What is Plastic Injection?

Made by injection machine; It is possible to define the process of transferring the raw plastic material melted at a certain temperature in the injection mold with a certain pressure, opening the mold at the end of the appropriate cooling period and exporting the plastic product as a plastic injection in general. Although it is generally seen as obtaining a plastic product by transferring the molten plastic to the mold, great care is required for the perfect completion of the plastic injection process. For example, Care should be taken to ensure that the raw material to be used for plastic injection is free from moisture and dust. Periodic inspection and maintenance of the funnel, screw (sleeve), nozzle (nozzle), barrel and runner bushings of the injection molding machine, occupational safety precautions, and training for the vice and drive systems are required.

Pros of Plastic Injection:

• Do not contain lime, carbon, glass powder, etc. into the plastic material. It can be produced by mixing fillers.

• Corrosion resistant parts with high tensile strength can be produced.

• Production capacity is high and mass production can be done.

• The labor cost of each manufactured piece is low.

• Provides ease of production compared to other methods.

• Parts of different shapes and sizes can be produced economically.

Cons of Plastic Injection:

• Mold design and processing costs are high.

• Production control is difficult in some cases.

• Lack of basic knowledge creates costly mistakes.

What is Plastic Injection Mold?

Plastic injection, which is very important for mold design, is always preferred. It is an application made especially using plastic raw materials. Plastic injection obtained by using high temperature is used in many sectors. It is frequently preferred especially in industrial manufacturing. Injection processes are especially preferred in injection machines. Machines mostly consist of parts called vise, injection, and mold. The use of raw materials is preferred when mold injection is obtained. The raw material put into the machine is heated at the appropriate temperature. After the heating process, the raw material is melted. Errors may occur if supervision is not performed during the plastic injection. By minimizing the errors, the molding process is carried out successfully.

What is Plastic Injection Molding Machine?

Plastic injection generally occurs by melting the plastic material and forming it. Then, the cooled material is terminated by the process of exiting the mold. Thanks to plastic injection, many materials are produced. It is preferred in the first place for injection machine plastic molds. The Injection machine usually consists of 3 parts. The injection unit and the mold are among the parts of the machine. At the same time, the clamping unit is among the parts of the machine. When manufacturing plastic injection, the closing unit is preferred first. The closing unit is very important for injection. It is the machine part that is used to keep the mold under certain pressure. It is the part that connects the injection mold. The injection unit is known as the place where the material is poured. The plastic material is transferred to this part and the construction phase takes place here. It is provided to melt in the mold with the help of heaters. During the molding process, the plastic material is kept in the mold until solid material is formed. During cooling, residual solid material is formed. By opening the mold, plastic product extraction is provided.

Plastic Injection Operator

The plastic injection operator usually ensures that the formed molds are connected. It also provides the preparation of raw materials. It is known as the expert operator that accelerates plastic production and controls the production. It also reports the production stages. It reduces the errors that occur during production.
